Motion Detection
A single ADT motion sensor can cover an area as big as 35’ by 40’ so most homeowners only need one or two to cover multiple high traffic areas. Movement triggers the sensor and instantly alerts ADT monitoring professionals. You can also set your system to automatically turn on lights when the motion sensor is triggered at night. For added protection, you can create an automation to activate your ADT indoor/outdoor cameras so you can see who triggered a sensor.
Glassbreak Sensor
Glass break detectors work by listening for the distinctive sound of broken glass. If you have ever broken a glass cup, a glass window, or a glass panel, you understand that nothing else sounds quite like the sound of shattering glass.
As a result, when glass break detectors detect that glass has been broken, they can respond in a number of ways. They can immediately notify you, they might notify the police department, and they can let out a loud shrieking noise that will immediately deter criminals from going any further. Glass break sensors are a great line of defense against potential break ins.
Smoke & Carbon Detection
In an emergency, every second counts. It could be the difference between life and death. Our smoke communicator uses photoelectric and rise of heat technology to measure air density. Our carbon monoxide communicator uses electrochemical sensing technology to monitor air and carbon monoxide concentrations in your home.
